The boxes Gradiants express themselves in different ways and in different places of habitat.
Receptacles, welcoming in them the objects that are dear to us, they also become, with their chip integrated, “smart objects” interconnected* with our smartphones, thus reinforcing the emotional connection that can sometimes incarnate some of our possessions.
Shaped by successive strata, pure and sophisticated forms multifaceted characterize them. Objects-sculptures, they then adorn themselves with soft and bright colors, as if to signal their presence, subtly.
* An integrated microchip transforms the Gradiants into interconnected “smart objects”. For example, use these as a base for your smartphone or simply put your phone near a box. This action will automatically trigger one or more tasks on your smartphone equipped with NFC technology. A multitude of scenarios are possible. Imagine, arrived at the office, in its receptacle, your phone goes into vibrating mode so as not to disturb your colleagues or even opens your calendar to consult your appointments. When you return home, place your phone in one of the boxes and it connects to your adsl box via wifi and sends an SMS or an e-mail to inform those around you of your arrival. Next to your bed, on the bedside table is a Gradiant box. You put your smartphone down, it sets an alarm and activates airplane mode.
